There’s something for everyone at Calvary Community Church, from dynamic kids and youth services, to inspiring worship, to opportunities to make a difference in Rochester and around the world. Calvary Community Church is for all people.
Whether you’re a single international student visiting Rochester on a student visa, a young family settling into your first home, or a mature adult rooted in Upstate New York for generations, you’ll feel welcome at Calvary Community Church.
Hospitality Team
The Hospitality Team creates a comfortable environment for guests by offering a warm welcome as each person enters the building and by providing requested information concerning Calvary’s ministry opportunities.
Care Team
The Care Team helps to ensure the care needs of the congregation are met by organizing the congregation’s efforts to reach out to members in need of a card, a ride, a meal, a visit or a phone call.
Kids Team
The Kids Team mission is to provide discipleship programs for all of Calvary Kids, from the nursery through the 4th grade.
Missions Team
The Missions Team supports those Ministry Teams at home and abroad focused primarily on helping others through compassionate ministry, sharing the Gospel through words and actions, prayer and financial support.
Communications Team
The Communications Team ensures that the Church communicates clearly, effectively and in alignment with best practices in person and on the website/social media.
Music Team
The Music Team is led by the Creative Arts Pastor and works together to lead the church in worshiping God with music. Vocalists and instrumentalists are welcome to audition.
Property Team
The Property Team maintains and improves the church property in order to support the activities and ministries of the church.
Students Team
The Students Team develops programs and events to support and nurture the youth of the church and to encourage youth to be faithful disciples of Jesus. This Ministry plans and promotes activities and service trips for students 5th grade through high school, and supports adult advisors and mentors.
Technology Team
The Technology Team supports the church staff and community with the selection, implementation, maintenance, and use of technology.
Venture Compassionate Ministries Team
The Venture Compassionate Ministry Team serves the needs of our congregation and community through ministries such as RAIHN (the homeless), children living in government assisted housing, quilts for infants in NICU, Senior Living Center Outreach, Lydia’s closet (clothing for children), Sports, Divorce Recovery, and food assistance.
