Our Missions board helps us to mobilize our church through prayer, giving, and educating. Review the cards below for details on our key initiatives.

ALABASTER OFFERING

Twice a year, we participate in the Alabaster Offering. This “loose change” offering helps the Church of the Nazarene to purchase land and construct churches, schools, medical facilities, and homes for missionaries and national workers.

CRISIS CARE KITS

Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) are a small way for us to help the Church of the Nazarene respond to natural disasters throughout the world. In the aftermath of a tragedy, these hygiene kits are sent out to help meet an immediate need. You can find more about the long-term development here.

World Evangelism Fund

Each Nazarene church is meant to contribute to the World Evangelism Fund (WEF) to help spread the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. For every dollar Calvary Community raises, 5.5% is dispersed to this fund. This is another way we feel like we are a part of something so much bigger than ourselves. MISSION EDUCATION

Knowledge is key to involvement! Our Mission Board helps us understand the needs of the world and what the church is doing to meet those needs. We are resourced to pray, give, communicate, and go. Check out the NMI resource area in our foyer.
