Calvary Kids

Partnering with Families to Make Disciples

Calvary Kids is a place where kids feel God’s immense love for all people while having fun learning about Jesus in an environment that is both age-appropriate and secure. In the process, Calvary Kids wants to come alongside families to help them become healthy and equipped and empower every kid to be a lifelong disciple of Jesus.

What Can I Expect?

Infants and toddlers, newborn to age 2 1/2, receive loving care and playtime fun in Calvary’s Under the Sea Nursery. Upon arrival, parents check-in at the Calvary Kids Check-In Desk, then receive a pager at nursery drop-off so you can be notified if your child needs assistance. A large picture window is present along one side of the nursery for you to view your little one from afar if desired.

Each member of our Calvary Kids Ministry Team is screened by a detailed application process, federal background check, and training. A minimum of two adult team members are present in each classroom at all times to ensure safety and quality care.  Only screened adults are permitted in Calvary’s classrooms.
Calvary Kids provides age-appropriate classroom environments and programming for children ages newborn-Grade 4 during Sunday morning services.
Each week children receive a Family Connection detailing the Bible story, Key Passage, and theme. Parents are encouraged to use these as a guide for discussion and review at home. Visit the Calvary Kids Check-In Desk to inquire about parent and family resources from Calvary’s Family Resource Library.

Due to allergies, we ask that no outside food be brought into Calvary Kids Preschool and
Calvary Kids Elementary classrooms during Sunday services.
Calvary Kids is a peanut-free/nut-free environment.
Please let us know at check-in if your child has an allergy or special need.

ZERO TOLERANCE

“The Church of the Nazarene has adopted a zero tolerance policy for sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior with minors. All workers, leaders, and pastoral staff are to be above reproach in their conduct and to act in the best interest of others. This requires not only that they themselves refrain from engaging in any abusive or suspicious behavior involving minors; they will also be required to report without delay to the proper authorities anyone seen engaging in such behavior.”
