Give

We believe and take joy in the ways our faith is made stronger through giving and receiving from one another.

Jesus’ example of generosity toward those most in need guides our community’s calling to spread God’s story and help realize His life-transforming change in the world.  We believe and take joy in the ways our faith is made stronger through giving and receiving from one another.  We celebrate our faith by following Jesus’ example of generosity toward those most in need, and it is a privilege to use our resources to continue telling God’s story and help bring measurable change in the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

In the Bible, a tithe is 10% of one’s income. An offering is when you give above and beyond your tithe, such as supporting other ministries and causes. We encourage you to take a Financial Stewardship Class to find out more about this subject and other stewardship principles addressed in the Bible.

Your money goes to more than keeping the lights on. Every day, this church is dedicated to improving the lives of people in our local community and beyond. We participate in projects throughout the region, including a partnership with Cross of Christ Church in downtown Rochester. Your funds also go to build hospitals, schools, churches, and to providing clean food, water, and more to communities around the world. Your contribution makes it possible to do the work we were created for.

You are given the option to pay the processing fees, but you do not have to do this. Calvary Community pays around $8000 a year in fees associated with online giving, so every time a giver covers the fees it does contribute to more money being used for ministry.

Of course! Please make checks payable to “Calvary Community Church”. If mailing to Calvary, send to:
